Dress Code Standard

Formal Business Attire

Official Award: Best Dressed Delegate
Real DIIMUN delegates in formal business suits and traditional formal attire during debate
Authentic floor proceedings from Chapter 1. Delegates must maintain strict western business or formal Indian attire throughout proceedings.

Gentlemen

  • Full formal suit with tie, or formal shirt, tie, dress trousers, and leather shoes.
  • Blazers or jackets strongly recommended for commanding floor presence.
  • Indian formal: Bandhgala or formal Kurta with Nehru jacket.

Ladies

  • Business pantsuit, formal blazer dress, or formal trousers with shirt.
  • Indian formal: Elegant formal saree or formal churidar/salwar with dupatta.
  • Professional formal footwear appropriate for conference proceedings.
